Master Food Preservers

The Master Food Preserver Program is a public service community outreach that provides up-to-date information on food safety and preservation.  Our Master Food Perserver (MFP) Volunteers conduct monthly public workshops that demonstrate research-based methods for preserving food safely at home to prevent food borne illness.  MFP volunteers also provide assistance to the general public by conducting speaker bureau presentations to community groups, and information booths at farmers' markets, community festivals, and other county events.
